Bilingual Account Coordinator

TITLE: Bilingual Account Coordinator

SALARY: $19-$22/hour


LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 6 months plus extension

  • Responsible for processing orders; order entry, order acknowledgment and follow-up
  • Follow-up and tracking of orders is the most important aspect of this job
  • Coordinate logistics for shipment of all goods (incoming & outgoing) within Canada and USA
  • Request freight rates
  • Follow minimum inventories to maintain and initiates orders for replenishment
  • Assist AP & AR by providing quotes when ambiguities arise
  • Process customs documents for US exports
  • Assist in production planning (complete the relabelling, repackaging, production form)
  • Handle sample requests
  • Knowledge of MSDS, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoices
  • Process purchase orders for resale goods, containers, etc.
  • Process purchase orders for equipment
  • Compute cost of goods sold for equipment
  • Work with multiple locations and shipping addresses
  • Assist management by providing reports based on customer service order patterns, freight costs, etc.
  • Provide WSIB certificates to customers upon request
  • Occasionally will have to be on call on weekends
  • Must be fluently bilingual in English and French with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with order entry and customer service
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP & pivot tables)
  • Large ERP system experience an asset
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to work under stress and be very diplomatic when dealing with high-maintenance customers and salespeople
  • Experience with proper e-mail etiquette
