Team Leader


TITLE: Team Leader

SALARY: $22.00-$25.00/hour

LOCATION: Mississauga, ON

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temporary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a team of outbound sales agents
  • Conduct quarterly and yearly evaluations
  • Work in cooperation with Manager to ensure that consistency in work expectations is communicated to staff effectively
  • Be an advocate of continual learning by encouraging staff to seek after new learnings
  • Build a result-oriented team by sharing goals and results with the team
  • Responsible for monitoring calls to ensure quality standards and provide on-going feedback (including performance improvement) for individual staff and update Manager on staff performance
  • Monitor calls to make sure correct information is given
  • Responsible to meet on a regular basis with staff to share monitoring results, stats, performance and development
  • Responsible for Call Quality monthly report
  • Work with staff to help them achieve the quality goals and benchmarks set for the department
  • Be knowledgeable of the organization, its stand on situations and able to convey these in a professional manner
  • Keep up to date with Customers’ needs and expectations by taking/making calls
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years’ previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field with an ability to demonstrate a commitment to serving and providing excellent customer service to donors
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results with ability to sell and negotiate
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel*) or CRM/Salesforce experience preferred (*high proficiency in Excel preferred); experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience
  • Experience in leading a team; motivating and encouraging a team; building and developing team synergy
  • Have analytical experience and be data driven
  • The willingness and desire to make decisions, initiate action & accept challenges that others may wish to avoid
  • A desire to build the confidence of agents by believing in them and by pointing out strengths and their potential for growth
  • An ability to lead, coach, motivate and mentor people so that they have the required attitudes and skills to make them want to succeed
  • The ability to establish stretch goals, inspire by example, and lead their people to commitment and action
